We boldly challenge what is possible for a sustainable world.Job Summary:The Accountant, Intercompany will report to the Team Leader, Intercompany and will play an important role in supporting the establishment of and being a key team member of the Intercompany Accounting team at the India Shared Services Center based in Bengaluru, India. The intercompany accountant will support the migration of intercompany accounting activities throughout EMEA and North America to the India Shared Service Center. Upon completion, Bengaluru location will be the global hub of a network of service centers that operate under standard processes and procedures and utilize Oracles ERP software solution.The position will require process expertise related to shared service center operations. The intercompany accountant will be part of a team of professional accountants performing accounting services in the areas of:xc2xb7 Management of intercompany accounting in line with policy FICAP 17-1Axc2xb7 Intercompany accounts receivable including agreements, automated billings/recharges, cash application and statement publication.xc2xb7 Intercompany accounts payable including invoice processing, GRNI & GIT management, netting & bank settlements, dispute management and supplier reconciliations.xc2xb7 Transfer pricing transactional accounting including royalties, commissions, and R&Dxc2xb7 Close management ensuring all intercompany balance sheet and profit and loss account relationships are in balance.xc2xb7 The position will require business partnering with our business units and effective communication across functions and with senior finance management and global operations.Responsibilities:xc2xb7 This intercompany accountant will be responsible for providing accounting services including continuous improvement of processes and internal controls as well as contributing to the overall vision for Companys shared services evolution.xc2xb7 Supporting the Team Leader, Intercompany and Accounting Leader, Intercompany in the establishment of the intercompany accounting team in the India Shared Service Center including implementation of standard business processes and governance for identified processes in-scope as documented in our finance blueprint.xc2xb7 Deliver successful transition of intercompany accounting finance processes, specific to their scope area, from the local finance teams in the United States and Ireland (and other locations as required) to the India Shared Service Center.xc2xb7 Ensure performance to targeted Global Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to align with delivery of desired service level to the business.xc2xb7 Integrate intercompany accounting finance processes of new acquisitions into the India Shared Service Center.xc2xb7 Collaborate closely with teams across the shared services organization and in the business lines to identify and implement opportunities for efficiencies (including the ERP IT team).Behavioral Characteristics:xc2xb7 Strong communication skills with the ability to work with cross-functional management (operations, sales, etc.) and senior finance management.xc2xb7 Ability to build a positive rapport with personnel throughout the global organization.xc2xb7 High sense of urgency and ability to identify creative solutions to advanced, time sensitive problems by balancing achievement of process objectives with practical considerations.xc2xb7 Strong customer service focus, with a drive to ensure that we exceed the expectations of our customers.xc2xb7 Ability to establish & implement processes and perform in a fast-paced environment.xc2xb7 Strong ability to pursue best practices in back-office operations, commitment to delivering quality results and overcoming obstacles and challenges in a time-sensitive environment.xc2xb7 Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple responsibilities while remaining calm and effective under pressure.xc2xb7 Exhibit a positive attitude and maintain poise under pressure.Qualifications:xc2xb7 Bachelors degree in accounting/finance with a CPA or Chartered Accountant certification or other similar qualification.xc2xb7 Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, including 2 years of experience in global shared service center environmentxc2xb7 Knowledge of financial systems skills and reporting tools (experience with Oracle R12, PeopleSoft a plus).xc2xb7 We offer competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits and programs that help our employees thrive in both their professional and personal lives.
