Each year, Great Place to Work\xc2\xae identifies India\'s 100 Best Companies to Work For (with employee strength more than 500) through an objective and rigorous workplace culture assessment process. https://www.greatplacetowork.in/ OrganizationalOrganizational Overview:"Our Analytics organization comprises of data analysts who focus on enabling strategies to enhance customer and partner experience and optimize business performance through data management and development of full stack descriptive to prescriptive analytics solutions using cutting edge technologies thereby enabling business growth."Role Summary/Purpose:The Senior Analyst, Data Steward (Individual contributor) is located in the India Analytics Hub (IAH) as part of Synchrony\'s enterprise Data Office and will be responsible for execution of capabilities and services for the Data Governance team across the enterprise, ensuring Synchrony delivers on the expectations of our partners, customers, and regulatory agencies. This individual will collaborate with Business and IT stakeholders, Data Management process leaders, external suppliers and other stakeholders to support integration of data management programs and standards across Synchrony. Responsibilities will span across multiple disciplines including project management, data stewardship, training development and some technical support for the overall Data Management team.Key Responsibilities

• Support the Data Governance Team to expand program adoption across Synchrony through communication, training, and support of the oversight community; including quarterly newsletter publication and online training course development, and Stewardship support as needed.
• Support the outbound data share transmission process including managing the request process, expediting emergency requests, resolving questions/issues and supporting requestors and reviewers as their requests move through the process.
• Ensure compliance with Consumer Privacy regulations by overseeing the management of consumer requests related to Right to Access and Erasure, ensuring SLAs are met.
• Manage the development, enhancement and standardization of platform documentation, existing training materials, and supporting procedures as well as the review and analysis of training statistics to measure response.
• Analyze process efficiencies/deficiencies to provide supporting evidence and recommendations for process improvements
• Participate in the analysis of platform defects and data issues and the development and execution of remediation plans

Required Skills & Knowledge:

• Bachelor\'s degree with 2+ years of hands-on relevant data management/data governance experience. Minimum 4+ years of relevant work experience in lieu of specified degree.
• 2+ years of experience developing training material and procedural documentation in financial services, banking, technology, loyalty and/or retail industries
• 2+ years of experience working as a liaison across various business functions on various IT projects.

Desired Skills & Knowledge

• Excellent written and communication skills to support Technical Writing requirements
• Experience with documentation and training development tools (e.g. Captivate, Microsoft PowerPoint, Word)
• Very high proficiency in English for oral / written communication to support collaboration across business processes, management levels and Data Stewards
• Knowledge of the retail banking & payments landscape
• Strong analytic and problem-solving skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Highly motivated with demonstrated ability to prioritize and handle assignments in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet business needs and project objectives.
• Openness to coaching and ability to learn quickly.
• Experience with visualization tools like Tableau
