As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Your expertise will contribute to the accurate tracking of financial data and support informed decision-making within the organisation. Responsibilities Ensuring timely month-close and accurate financial reporting for India, including review of journal entries, account reconciliations, and consolidation Supporting International subsidiary board meetings. Prepare financial statements for senior management review Maintaining and continuing to improve upon accounting processes and controls that can scale Managing the annual statutory audit by ensuring high-quality deliverables are provided on time Validating inter-company activities in support of the company\'s transfer pricing strategies Collaborating with FP&A on planning for the financial needs of the India entity and reviewing any noted variances from the budget. Supporting tax and telecommunication provider regulatory compliance requirements Assisting with ad hoc accounting needs or projects across other international entities, on an as needed basis. What we\'re looking for Be a CPA (or local equivalent) or have Big 4 accounting operations experience Have extensive experience in international accounting standards like IFRS, US GAAP, and Indian GAAP Have knowledge of local laws and regulations related to corporate compliance, particularly related to telecommunication provider requirements in India. Have familiarity in revenue recognition standard (ASC 606) is a must Be a team player and effective communicator with all levels of management and across functional organisations Have solid organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities and execute with attention to detail
