Job Title: Senior Accountant

Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our growing company. This pivotal role involves working closely with the Founders, maintaining a sharp focus on financial metrics, and driving the financial health of the organization. The ideal candidate will bring 4-7 years of expertise in accounting, statutory compliance, and financial management, coupled with the ability to work independently and contribute strategically in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Management & Accounting:
- Independently manage day-to-day accounting operations and financial correspondence.
- Maintain accurate accounts and records using Tally Prime 9.
- Prepare invoices, purchase orders (POs), and record bills efficiently.
2. Compliance & Statutory Regulations:
- Oversee timely compliance with GST, EPF, PT, and other statutory obligations.
- Ensure accurate filing and reporting in alignment with legal and regulatory standards.
3. Strategic Financial Oversight:
- Maintain a "hawk eye" on financial metrics, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company goals.
- Work closely with the Founders to provide financial insights and contribute to strategic decision-making.
- Prepare detailed financial reports, forecasts, and budgets.
- Coordinate with Company CA and CS.
4. Banking & Coordination:
- Manage banking transactions and maintain a strong relationship with financial institutions.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on finance-related matters.
5. Team Collaboration & Growth:
- Play an integral role in driving the financial efficiency of a growing company.
- Assist in audits and provide documentation to ensure transparency and compliance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CA or CA intermediate preferred.
- 4-7 years of proven experience in accounting and financial management.
- Expertise in Tally Prime 9 and other accounting tools.
- Strong knowledge of GST, EPF, PT, and statutory compliance.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a sharp analytical mindset.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to handle multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work closely with Founders and cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in working with startups or fast-growing companies.
- Advanced knowledge of financial analysis and reporting tools.
