Job Title: Senior Accountant - Textile Industry Company: Peacock Digital World Location: On-Site at Sachin GIDC, Surat Position Type: Full-Time Salary Range: 30,000 - 40,000 per month (based on experience) : Peacock Digital World is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. As a Senior Accountant in the textile industry, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and inventory accounting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, exceptional attention to detail, and proficiency in Tally software. Responsibilities: Financial and Inventory Accounting: Manage and oversee all financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities. Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, ensuring alignment with financial transactions. Conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy of financial and inventory data. Reporting: Generate error-free financial reports on a regular basis and as required by management using Tally software. Prepare detailed analyses of financial performance, variances, and trends. Assist in the preparation of financial statements for internal and external reporting. Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies. Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits to provide necessary documentation and explanations. Proficiency in Tally: Utilize Tally software for day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Tally software. Train and assist other team members in using Tally effectively. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy, particularly within Tally workflows. Recommend and implement best practices in financial and inventory accounting. Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proven experience as a Senior Accountant, preferably in the textile industry. Strong knowledge of financial and inventory accounting principles. Proficient in Tally software. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
