We are searching for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing team. In this crucial role, you will play a key part in overseeing the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations specific to the interior fitout industry. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounting cycle for assigned projects, ensuring adherence to Indian accounting standards and best practices. Responsibilities
- Manage the full accounting cycle for assigned construction projects, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, job costing, and payroll.
- Prepare and analyze cost reports, variance reports, and other financial statements to track project progress and identify potential cost overruns.
- Oversee the timely and accurate processing of invoices, purchase orders, and other financial transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and sub-ledgers to the general ledger.
- Participate in the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Maintain accurate and detailed project accounting records to ensure compliance with tax regulations and internal controls.
- Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and other departments to ensure financial data accuracy and support informed decision-making.
- Stay up-to-date on relevant accounting standards and regulations in India, particularly those pertaining to the construction industry.
- May supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.

- Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in accounting, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong understanding of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and relevant tax regulations.
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally.ERP 9) is a must.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
