Prepare and review financial statements and reports in compliance with GAAP
Oversee the month-end and year-end closing process, including reconciliations and journal entries.
Manage and mentor junior accounting staff
Ensure all accounting records are accurate and up-to-date
Analyze financial data and provide insights to management
Prepare budgets and forecasts, including variance analysis
Assist with tax compliance and audit preparation
Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting

Qualifications:

Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
CPA designation preferred
5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years of experience in a senior accounting role
Strong knowledge of GAAP
Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Xero)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in a corporate accounting environment preferred
