Prepare accurate, timely financial statements in accordance with our established schedule and with input from the rest of the accounting department
Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
Review all inter-company transactions and generate invoices as necessary
Delegate financial responsibilities to reportee accounting team
Conduct weekly ledger maintenance
Monitoring and reporting on accounting inconsistencies in invoicing and purchase orders prepared.
Coordination with clients for invoice queries, vendors for purchase order queries.
Ensuring timely clearance of payments.
Responding to financial inquiries by gathering and interpreting data.
Assisting head of accounts & finance team in their working.
Job Requirements:
Experience of at least 5 years in account and finance.
Experience of at least 3 years of managing a team of accountants.
Candidate should have expertise in Zoho Books as well as Tally, invoicing & purchase orders, bank reconciliation, etc.
Previous experience in an accounting or finance role.
An analytical mind
A keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data
Deadline-orientated and an ability to stick to time constraints
