Through a data-driven approach and continuous dialogue with our partners, our team provides operational insights that are timely, accurate, and actionable and drive better business decisions to help us achieve our overall goals of SaaS transformation.What You Will Be Doing

  • Execute month-end close activities including accruals, Prepaids, depreciation, and amortization.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in compliance with Indian statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage GST return filings, TDS reconciliation, and STPI compliance to ensure timely submission.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (Treasury, Payroll, AP) to enhance accounting processes and compliance.
  • Conduct account reconciliations and prepare supporting schedules for balance sheet integrity.
  • Respond promptly to auditor inquiries regarding general ledger and compliance-related matters.
  • Analyze complex financial data and provide insights to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Mentor junior team members, fostering professional development and enhancing team performance.
To Be Successful in The Role, You Will Have
  • Proven expertise in general ledger accounting and month-end close processes.
  • Strong knowledge of GST, STPI, and TDS compliance and return filing in India.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software tools.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, MBA, or CA-Inter with 4-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Prior experience in the IT industry is highly preferred.

  • First 90 Days:
  • Complete onboarding process and familiarize with Ivanti's culture, values, and organizational structure.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of current accounting systems and processes.
  • Review and assess existing financial records, focusing on General Ledger accuracy and compliance.
  • Meet with team members across Treasury, Payroll, AP, and Facilities to establish strong collaborative relationships.
  • Prepare and submit the first monthly GST return and TDS reconciliation, ensuring compliance with deadlines.
  • Participate in month-end close activities, including accruals and adjustments.
  • First 6 Months:
  • Take full ownership of monthly and quarterly financial closings.
  • Implement process improvements based on the initial assessment of workflows.
  • Engage with auditors and assist in the preparation for audit queries related to GLs and compliance.
  • Ensure timely filing of all statutory returns including STPI and GST.
  • Provide support for financial analysis and reporting as needed by the finance team.
  • Identify training or resources needed for continuous learning and development in GST and compliance regulations.
  • First 12 Months:
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of implemented process improvements and refine them as necessary.
  • Develop a comprehensive schedule for all compliance-related filings and ensure adherence to timelines.
  • Take on more complex financial projects and responsibilities as needed, demonstrating leadership.
  • Provide mentorship and training to junior accounting staff or team members in compliance matters.
  • Prepare for and successfully lead internal audits, showcasing the integrity of financial practices.
  • Assess personal performance and align future goals with those of the finance department and Ivanti.
