Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Process Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing bank reconciliations, processing invoices, and supporting the preparation of financial statements. If you have experience in accounting outsourcing and a strong command of accounting software like Xero and QuickBooks , we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Reconcile bank statements and general ledgers accurately and efficiently.
• Post journal entries for accrued expenses and revenue.
• Record and adjust payments, maintaining subsidiary accounts.
• Manage fixed assets and perform necessary financial reporting.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and compliance filings.
• Act as a liaison with vendors to resolve billing discrepancies.
• Process invoices into QuickBooks and Xero using tools like Receipt Bank, Hubdoc, and Auto Entry.
• Perform general ledger analysis, P&L analysis, and month-end management account preparation.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and address client queries.
• Analyze aged payables and receivables.
• Support Canadian bookkeeping tasks (knowledge preferred but not mandatory).

Background and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Commerce. CA/ACWA or an MBA in Finance with an Accounting specialization is preferred.
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in the accounting outsourcing industry.
• Prior experience in a start-up environment is an asset.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
• Fluency in English (both spoken and written) is essential, as this will be assessed.
• Comfortable interacting with overseas clients.

Required Software Skills

• Proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, and QuickBooks Online (QBO) is essential.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?35,000.00 - ?40,000.00 per month
