We are seeking a Chartered Accountant to join us as a Senior Accountant. The role involves managing our accounting team, overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and handling scrutiny by regulatory departments.
• Manage and supervise the accounting team, assigning tasks and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Lead the finalisation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
• Coordinate with external auditors during audits and resolve any audit queries promptly.
• Prepare and file TDS, GST returns, and other statutory filings within specified deadlines.
• Perform advance tax calculations and ensure timely compliance with income tax regulations.
• Maintain accurate investment accounting records and compliance with relevant guidelines.
• Stay updated with changes in tax laws, particularly the income tax act, and implement necessary adjustments.
• Provide basic guidance on FEMA regulations related to financial transactions.
• Handle scrutiny by regulatory departments and ensure all necessary documentation and responses are provided promptly.
Requirements:
• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with relevant experience.
• Semi-Qualified CA with more than 7 years experience can apply.
• Proven track record in managing accounting teams and overseeing financial processes.
• Strong understanding of finalisation of accounts, audit procedures, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Familiarity with investment accounting principles and taxation laws.
