Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with a strong background in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of accounting experience, proficiency in Tally, and a deep understanding of GST regulations. This role will be crucial in maintaining the financial health of our organization through accurate and timely financial management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting:
• Prepare and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable:
• Manage the accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Ensure timely payments to vendors and follow up on outstanding receivables.
• GST Compliance:
• Handle all GST-related activities, including filing of returns and ensuring compliance with GST laws.
• Conduct periodic GST reconciliations and audits.
• General Ledger Management:
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
• Budgeting and Forecasting:
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Analyze financial performance against forecasts and provide insights.
• Cost Accounting:
• Oversee cost accounting procedures specific to the manufacturing industry.
• Analyze production costs and recommend cost-saving measures.
• Financial Analysis:
• Perform financial analysis and generate reports to support decision-making.
• Identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
• Internal Controls:
• Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
• Team Collaboration:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations.
• Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in Tally accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of GST regulations and compliance.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional accounting certification (e.g., CA, CMA) is a plus.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
