Job Overview
The Senior Accountant will oversee all financial activities and transactions for the Eurasian Institute of Management, managing accounts for six branches. The role includes handling staff salaries, incentives, and student fee collections, along with ensuring compliance with GST regulations and proficiency in Tally. This position requires a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience and a strong command in financial management.
Key Responsibilities
• Financial Management:
• Oversee and manage daily financial transactions for all six branches of the institute.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial activities in the accounting system.
• Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Handle the preparation and submission of GST returns and ensure compliance with all GST regulations.
• Conduct regular audits and checks to ensure accuracy and integrity in financial data.
• Accounting:
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including the reconciliation of accounts.
• Maintain and update financial records using Tally and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Monitor and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial planning for the branches.
• Payroll and Staff Management:
• Handle payroll processing for all staff across the six branches, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
• Manage staff incentives and bonuses, ensuring they are in line with company policies and performance metrics.
• Maintain employee payroll records and handle any payroll-related queries or issues.
• Fee Collection:
• Oversee the collection of student fees, ensuring timely and accurate updates in the system.
• Handle any discrepancies or issues related to fee payments and ensure efficient resolution.
• Compliance and Reporting:
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and internal policies.
• Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage annual audits.
• Leadership and Command:
• Provide strong leadership and guidance to the finance team.
• Implement best practices in financial management and operations.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration between the finance department and other branches.
Qualifications
• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification (CA, CPA, CMA) is a plus.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting or financial management.
• Proven experience in managing multiple branches or departments is preferred Skills:
• Proficiency in Tally and other accounting software.
• Strong understanding of GST regulations and compliance.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong command and leadership abilities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
