Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions. This role requires strong analytical skills, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a thorough understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations including month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Ensure accuracy of financial documents and compliance with relevant regulations
• Maintain and reconcile balance sheets and general ledger accounts
• Prepare tax filings and coordinate with external auditors
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff
• Conduct variance analyses and identify areas for improvement
• Collaborate with other departments to support overall company goals and objectives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA certification preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, with at least 1 year in a senior role
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
