Position Overview :
The Academic Counselor is responsible for guiding and supporting students throughout their educational journey at Airgo Aviation Academy. This role involves providing academic advising, assisting with course selection, and helping students navigate any challenges they encounter during their studies. The Academic Counselor plays a crucial role in enhancing the student experience and ensuring academic success.

Key Responsibilities :

• Student Advising :
• Provide one-on-one academic counseling to current and prospective students.
• Assist students in selecting courses and creating personalized academic plans that align with their career goals.
• Support Services :
• Identify students' academic and personal challenges and provide appropriate resources and referrals.
• Offer support for students experiencing difficulties, including tutoring, mentoring, and counseling services.
• Enrollment and Registration :
• Guide students through the enrollment and registration process.
• Ensure students understand and comply with academy policies and procedures.
• Career Guidance :
• Provide career counseling and guidance on job placement opportunities in the aviation industry.
• Organize workshops and seminars on resume writing, interview skills, and job search strategies.
• Program Promotion :
• Assist in promoting academic programs to potential students through information sessions, open houses, and school visits.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local schools, colleges, and educational institutions.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in academic counseling and aviation education.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance counseling skills and knowledge.

Qualifications :

• Education : Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
• Experience : Minimum of 2 years of experience in academic counseling, student services, or a related role.
• Skills :
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population.
• Knowledge of educational and career opportunities in the aviation industry.
• Proficiency in using student information systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?15,781.59 - ?20,443.37 per month
