We are looking for a skilled and experienced 2D Animator Supervisor with at least 6 years of experience in the animation industryas a supervisor. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in traditional and digital animation techniques, exceptional leadership abilities, and a proven track record of supervising and guiding animation teams to deliver high-quality work on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in traditional and digital animation techniques, exceptional leadership abilities, and a proven track record of supervising and guiding animation teams to deliver high-quality work on time and within budget. Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of 2D animators, providing guidance, mentorship, and feedback to ensure the successful execution of animation projects.
- Collaborate with the production team to establish project goals, timelines, and budget constraints, and develop strategies to achieve them.
- Oversee the animation pipeline, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and adherence to project schedules and deadlines.
- Review storyboards, animatics, and layouts to provide constructive feedback and ensure alignment with the creative vision and project requirements.
- Participate in pre-production meetings to discuss project objectives, brainstorm ideas, and address any technical or creative challenges.
- Stay current with industry trends, tools, and techniques, and explore innovative approaches to enhance the quality and efficiency of animation production.
- Provide support and guidance to animators, troubleshoot technical issues, and offer creative solutions to overcome obstacles.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting open communication, teamwork, and professional development opportunities for team members.
- Serve as a liaison between the animation team and management, providing regular updates on project status, resource requirements, and potential risks or challenges.
- Bachelor\'s degree in Animation, Fine Arts, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in 2D animation production, with a strong portfolio.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team of animators.
- Proficiency in industry-standard animation software such as Adobe Animate, Toon Boom Harmony, or similar tools.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail, creative problem-solving abilities, and a passion for storytelling and visual storytelling.
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.
- Minimum 6 years of experience as a 2D supervisor.
