Job Purpose:The SEM Specialist position is integral to the eCommerce digital marketing department, requiring a deep passion for digital media and search engine marketing. As a valued member of our experienced digital marketing team, the SEM Specialist is tasked with designing, executing, measuring, and optimizing marketing strategies for search engine marketing. The SEM Specialist is expected to conduct keyword research, create new campaigns, bid/budget management and optimization, and make ad copy recommendations in support of client goals. The ideal candidate is resourceful with a strategic mindset and analytical skills to provide innovative recommendations based on search trends, market research, and campaign performance data. They can work independently while embracing collaboration as part of a team. Strong communication skills are vital, as they will be an active participant on internal calls and will be trusted to escalate issues as appropriate.Job Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and manage Brand, Nonbrand, and Performance Max (PMax) campaigns across Google and Bing, focusing on quality assurance.
  • Manage numerous ad accounts with budgets up to $100k monthly.
  • Steward accounts proactively, analyse performance data and KPIs, and make frequent optimizations.
  • Write actionable, data-driven insights to drive campaign success and achieve objectives, and clearly communicate recommendations to internal teams and clients.
  • Understand Google\xe2\x80\x99s auction and delivery system to optimize campaign structure, ad groups, keywords, and ad copy.
  • Perform regular audits to improve performance, drive efficiencies, and replace outdated assets.
  • Own budgets for clients and campaigns, monitoring delivery and ensuring proper pacing throughout flights.
  • Identify new relevant keywords for based on search query reports and other keyword research tools.
  • Create and implement relevant ad extensions for all campaigns on Google and Bing
  • Identify emerging trends from performance analysis to inform future campaign strategies.
  • Build a knowledge base on the latest trends in digital media, attribution, and the role of search in the customer journey.
Requirements:
  • Graduate (preferred BA, BS, BE / BTech) accredited college or university.
  • 2-3 years of experience executing and managing paid search campaigns.
  • Familiarity with reporting and writing actionable insights.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite, with advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
Competencies:
  • Experience with and understanding of tracking and floodlight tags for measurement of SEM campaigns and multi-channel attribution.
  • Follow Cendyn SEM team processes accurately and effectively.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, able to work in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail with strong capacity for problem solving.
  • Proven self-starter with ability to manage priorities and expectations.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) proficiently.
  • Understand lower- and upper-funnel KPIs, with a deep understanding of ROAS.
  • Convey digital marketing principles clearly and effectively to internal stakeholders.
  • Participate actively and effectively in internal communication channels and meetings.
  • Manage time effectively, handle account responsibilities independently, and collaborate cross-departmentally to drive projects forward.
  • Demonstrate high motivation and collaborative spirit within the SEM team and across departments, while effectively problem-solving and prioritizing tasks with a detail-oriented and analytical approach
  • Experience working remotely and willingness to balance working hours across global time zones.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • SA360 experience preferred.
  • Hospitality marketing experience is a plus.
  • Google Analytics certification a plus
  • Microsoft (Bing) Ad Manager experience a plus
Work TimingsMonday through Friday from 12 PM to 9 PM IST. This will provide healthy overlap between India team and US team and supporting both to ensure adequate collaboration.
