Job Description

• 4-6 years of security testing experience required
• Responsible for planning, designing, and executing security tests and quality control measures to identify vulnerabilities and ensure the reliability and security of software application
• This role plays a critical part in safeguarding sensitive data and maintaining the integrity of systems
• Key Responsibilities: Security Testing: Plan, design, and execute security tests, including vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security scanning
• Identify security weaknesses, vulnerabilities, and threats in software applications
• Quality Control: Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure software reliability, functionality, and adherence to security standards
• Conduct manual and automated tests, including functional, regression, and performance testing
• Threat Analysis: Analyse security threats and trends to proactively identify potential risks and vulnerabilities
• Stay updated on emerging security issues and vulnerabilities in the software and technology landscape
• Reporting: Create detailed test reports, including security findings, vulnerabilities, and recommendations for remediation
• Collaborate with development and IT teams to prioritize and address security and quality issues
• Compliance and Standards: Ensure software applications comply with relevant security standards, industry regulations, and best practices
• Help maintain and enforce security policies and procedures
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of security and quality control processes
• Create and maintain test cases, test plans, and test scripts
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, quality assurance, and security experts, to enhance software security
