Juniper's Connected Security team is seeking a highly motivated, technical marketing engineer to drive and own technical marketing for our security product portfolio.



In this role the TME will helps to define, articulate, and promote the technical merits and architecture at product and portfolio level, and engage with field and customers directly. This role is a key individual contributor role that requires strong technical insights and ability to communicate and present with technical proficiency. This role works in cross-functional partnerships with teams such as PLM, Engineering, CTO, Marketing, and other product/service groups to support Juniper's Go-to-Market and to execute against Juniper's Connected Security growth strategy. The position works directly with PLM for specific products and requires hands on management of the software and devices.


Responsibilities:


• Support product strategy, product definition and develop roadmap with your PLM peers
• Work with engineering to establish technical product specifications are designed into new products based on customer and industry
• Develop, build & test products in close collaboration with PLM peers & other cross-functional teams
• Deal Support/Customer Engagement, including technical and sales presentations to customers
• POC assistance for System Engineers and SE Specialists, creating product POC guidelines
• Support in RFP/RFI responses and defences', develop boilerplates for responses
• Perform technical competitive assessments
• Analyst Support & 3rd Party Testing
• Deliver technical training & enablement for field, partners, & customers, including assisting in field facing configuration guides
• Marketing support in the form of technical deep dive collateral websites, articles and presentations at product and solution level.
• Represent the Connected Security product portfolio in webinars, podcasts and industry events


Requirements:


• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the cybersecurity market in either of these roles or similar.
• Proven track record in a technical roles around networking, security, and cloud technologies
• Experience in building lab demo or POC installations of management software stacks
• Demonstrable record of developing and executing complex strategies across technology domains, geographic markets and customer sets
• Being able to travel for work


Skills:


• Must understand and communicate Security Market with trends, customer deployment models and technologies to develop security products.
• Good understanding of network security technologies such as firewalls, IPSEC, IPS, application security, unified threat management, Advance threat prevention, policy management, security threats, malware & vulnerabilities, routing protocols.
• Good understanding of securing Virtualized and Cloud Native architectures.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills across different audience levels (from staff engineer/ops to CTO)
• Project Management capabilities
• Work with and influence internal resources, without direct control over those resources.
• Good problem-solving skills
• Proven capability to effectively transfer knowledge to technical teams, both through formal and informal training
• Ability to listen, understand, and interpret customer requirements.
• Ability to balance customer requests with internal capabilities.
• Work well in fast-paced environment.


Education:


• Degree in Computer Science / Engineering, or related technical field.
