Job Description

• Leadership Guiding a team, setting goals, providing feedback, and ensuring security protocols are followed
• Team supervision Managing a team of security personnel, delegating tasks, and monitoring performance
• Emergency response Leading emergency response drills to help employees understand how to act in an emergency
• Security equipment Verifying the functionality of security equipment, including CCTV and burglar alarms
• Patrols Patrolling the area with the security team to keep an eye out for hazards or strange people
• Security documentation Writing and submitting security reports
• Security incidents Reporting security incidents to the designated senior/reporting officer and agencies like police, fire and medical
• Customer service Ensuring the best possible service delivery
• New personnel Inducting new personnel ensuring they are aware of site security procedures

Other skills that are important for a security supervisor include:

• Excellent surveillance and observation skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Ability to think quickly and on your feet
• Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
• Familiarity with report writing
• Tech-savvy with experience in surveillance systems
• Trained in First Aid/BLS and self-defense

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?18,000.00 - ?22,000.00 per month
