Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Security Officer with a background in the Indian Army to ensure the safety and security of our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will bring military discipline, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to maintaining a secure environment for all employees and assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Surveillance and Monitoring:

Oversee surveillance systems and conduct regular patrols to identify potential security risks and ensure adherence to company protocols.

• Access Control:

Manage entry points, verifying identification and granting access only to authorized personnel.

• Incident Response:

Respond swiftly to security breaches, alarms, and emergencies, coordinating with local law enforcement and emergency services as necessary.

• Reporting and Documentation:

Maintain detailed logs of activities and incidents, preparing comprehensive reports for management review.

• Safety Compliance:

Promote and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations, contributing to a safe workplace for all.

• Training and Awareness:

Provide security training for employees and disseminate information on emergency procedures and safety protocols.

• Customer Service:

Assist employees and visitors, ensuring a welcoming yet secure environment.

• Collaboration:

Liaise with management and external agencies to enhance security strategies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Education:

High school diploma or equivalent; military training or further education in security management is a plus.

• Experience:

Background in the Indian Army with experience in security, law enforcement, or related fields preferred.

• Skills:
• Strong observational and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proven ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions in emergencies
• Familiarity with security technologies and surveillance systems
• Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods as needed.
