Designation: Security Officer

Age: Below 65 Years

Experience: Ex Military/Police dept will be preferable.

Key Result Areas (KRA) for Security Officer

• Monitoring and Supervision of Security Guards
• Ensure all security guards are performing their duties as per the defined security protocols.
• Regularly conduct inspections and spot-checks to ensure guards are alert and following procedures.
• Monitor shift schedules and ensure proper deployment of guards across the yard.
• Incident Response and Reporting
• Oversee and respond to any security breaches, theft, accidents, or unauthorized access in the yard.
• Maintain accurate incident logs and report all security incidents to the management in a timely manner.
• Investigate security-related incidents and take corrective measures when needed.
• Training and Development
• Conduct regular training sessions for security guards on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and effective patrolling techniques.
• Ensure all security guards are trained to handle firefighting equipment and first aid.
• Access Control and Surveillance
• Ensure proper access control mechanisms are in place for vehicles and personnel entering and leaving the yard.
• Monitor CCTV footage regularly and coordinate with guards to ensure all areas of the yard are covered and secured.
• Ensure proper documentation for all visitors and goods entering or exiting the premises.
• Security Equipment Management
• Regularly inspect and maintain security equipment such as CCTV cameras, alarms, and communication devices to ensure they are functional.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams for the repair or replacement of faulty security equipment.
• Coordination with Other Departments
• Liaise with other department heads, such as yard operations, HR, and warehouse managers, to address any security concerns or issues.
• Ensure smooth coordination with emergency services such as fire, police, and medical teams when necessary.
• Compliance and Safety Audits
• Ensure that all security activities are compliant with company policies, local laws, and yard safety regulations.
• Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
• Reporting and Documentation
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on security operations, including any incidents, security breaches, or improvements.
• Ensure proper documentation of all security protocols, guard deployment schedules, and equipment maintenance.

• Incident-free days in the yard.
• Response time to incidents or breaches.
• Guard compliance with shift schedules and security protocols.
• Quality of security guard training and readiness.
• Regular equipment checks and minimal downtime of security systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
