DESCRIPTION

The primary objective of the Security & Loss Prevention manager is to provide physical security services, plan and execute Loss prevention initiatives and ensure asset protection in designated area of responsibility. SLP Manager would assist in mitigating product loss and maintain customer satisfaction in accordance with Global Security guidelines and policies. The role is cross-functional and requires effective collaboration with stakeholders from business and corporate functions. SLP Manager\'s day to day activities involve planning, organizing, coordinating, implementing and executing process and procedures laid down by the organization and respective function. Identify Areas of shrink at the FC, Sort center and Delivery station level including delivery partners. Identify the potential theft area and work closely with the concerned stake holders to mitigate the causes of Theft. Optimum utilization of the resources to ensure and maintain high quality and timely support to Business teams. Conduct risk assessment for the respective sites and work in accordance with the security policies and guidelines.Ability to independently handle emergency/crisis situations and use excellent thought process and decision making skills during such ambiguous and complex situation.

1. Security Operation

\xef\x83\x98 Implementation & Follow-up of Security Plan.

\xef\x83\x98 Reports - Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Half yearly and Annual
\xef\x83\x98 Patrolling Observations & Corrective action and follow ups
\xef\x83\x98 Ensure YMS and TBS compliance are met.
\xef\x83\x98 Ensure all posts are 4M & 5S compliant
2. Audits/Certifications
\xef\x83\x98 Keeping the plans & SOPs updated
\xef\x83\x98 Periodic review of documentation as per GSO policy.
\xef\x83\x98 Preparation of Documents for Internal & External Audits
\xef\x83\x98 Surprise Check and reports
\xef\x83\x98 5S Audits of all Frisking Points and Implementation of suggested Points
3. Process Improvement & Loss Prevention Program

4. Security System

\xef\x83\x98 Ensure 100% Training of all security guards
\xef\x83\x98 Controlling of Access & Review of Access level
\xef\x83\x98 Hygiene Status Report & Operational Effectiveness of Security gadgets.
\xef\x83\x98 Preventive maintenance Schedule for all Security Gadgets & its Improvements
\xef\x83\x98 Monthly Business Review Meeting
\xef\x83\x98 New Projects & Completion report
\xef\x83\x98 Reports - Daily, Weekly & Monthly reports
\xef\x83\x98 Daily Defect Follow ups
\xef\x83\x98 Reports & Follow ups Of Near Miss, Suspected Movements & Process violation at production
5. Loss Prevention Analysis
\xef\x83\x98 Conduct Investigation by working closely with business team and support functions in SLP related areas.
\xef\x83\x98 Quick Completion Investigation and submission of reports
\xef\x83\x98 Loss prevention audits and recommendations if any
\xef\x83\x98 Surprise Checks and submission of reports
\xef\x83\x98 Follow up & Completion of CAPA with regards to Concern areas.
6. Security Stores and Assets

\xef\x83\x98 Maintenance Schedule of Assets & Security Gadgets

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

\xef\x83\x98 University degree level or equivalent through experience and professional certification. \xef\x83\x98 A minimum of 8-10 years in Security and Loss prevention role, law enforcement or security-related profession. \xef\x83\x98 Extensive and up to date knowledge of security equipment and technology. \xef\x83\x98 Experience in managing or coordinating security investigations of complex nature. \xef\x83\x98 Knowledge of information security processes and systems. \xef\x83\x98 Experience in security auditing. \xef\x83\x98 Must be a Graduate or Post graduate

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

\xef\x83\x98 Loss Prevention \xef\x83\x98 Investigation/Security related Certifications. \xef\x83\x98 Preferably from Military/Law enforcement or Studies related to criminology or forensics background. \xef\x83\x98 Emergency Response / Crisis Management \xef\x83\x98 Training & Development. \xef\x83\x98 Auditing and security investigations
