Work Model: On-Site/Office Description . We are looking for a skilled Security Lead Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of network and system security, and cloud-based technologies, and is proficient in programming capabilities. They will be tasked with designing, building, and overseeing the implementation of network and computer security for our organization. Requirements . Conduct system security and vulnerability analyses and risk assessments. . Deliver technical reports when required. . At least 5 years of experience in information security management and IT risk management with strong familiarity with software and security architectures. . Familiarity with cyber security legislation and standards (ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS). . Expert knowledge of the Linux environment and its security aspects. . Proficiency in multiple programming languages such as Rust, C#, Python, Java, C++, and GoLang. GlobalLogic estimates the starting pay range for this role to be performed in Boston MA and the salary range will be $130,000/yr to $140,000/yr and reflects base salary only. This pay range is provided as a good faith estimate and the amount offered may be higher or lower. GlobalLogic takes many factors into consideration in making an offer, including candidate qualifications, work experience, operational needs, travel and onsite requirements, internal peer equity, prevailing wage, responsibilities, and other market and business considerations. Preferences . Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, OpenShift). . Strong knowledge of Cloud IAM, SSO, MFA, SAML, PKI and best practices for authentication and access control. . Experience with architectural patterns such as microservices, serverless, event-driven, etc. . Understanding of Secure by Design principles and their implementation in software . Bachelor\'s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field. Certifications (optional): . Certification in Information Security like CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or equivalent. . Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP). . Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). . Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH). . CompTIA Security+ Job Responsibilities . Design secure networks, systems and application architectures. . Plan, research and design robust security architectures for any IT project. . Work closely with the team of software architects to create comprehensive standards, policies and procedures to ensure security best practices. . Assist in performing vulnerability testing, risk analyses and security assessments. . Test security solutions using industry-standard analysis criteria. .
