As a Security Guard at our preschool, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the premises, staff, children, and visitors. Your primary duty will be to maintain a safe environment through vigilant monitoring, enforcing security protocols, and responding promptly to any incidents or emergencies. Responsibilities:

- Monitoring:
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify any security risks or breaches.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to detect any suspicious activity.
- Keep a watchful eye on all entrances and exits to prevent unauthorized access.
- Enforcement:
- Enforce security policies and procedures to maintain order and safety.
- Verify the identity of visitors and ensure they have proper authorization to enter the premises.
- Take appropriate action against any individuals found violating security protocols.
- Emergency Response:
- Respond promptly to any emergencies, including medical situations, fire alarms, or security breaches.
- Coordinate with emergency services (police, fire department, etc.) as needed.
- Assist in evacuating the premises in case of an emergency, ensuring the safety of all occupants.
- Communication:
- Maintain clear and effective communication with staff, parents, and management regarding security matters.
- Report any security incidents, breaches, or suspicious activities to the appropriate authorities and management.
- Safety Measures:
- Conduct regular checks of safety equipment such as fire extinguishers and emergency exits to ensure they are in working order.
- Provide guidance to staff and children on safety procedures and protocols.
- Previous experience in security or a related field preferred.
- Strong observation and surveillance skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in emergency situations.
- Knowledge of basic first aid and emergency response procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training in security or law enforcement is a plus.
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
- Capability to lift and carry objects up to a certain weight (e.g., emergency supplies).
- Good physical fitness and agility to respond quickly to emergencies.
