Title: Security Guard (Ex-Army) Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and disciplined ex-army professional to join our company. The ideal candidate will bring their military experience and expertise to ensure the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations. Responsibilities: 1. Conduct regular patrols of the premises to maintain a visible security presence. 2. Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify and respond to security threats. 3. Enforce access control procedures, including verifying the identity of visitors and inspecting their belongings. 4. Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and alarms, taking appropriate action to resolve situations and mitigate risks. 5. Conduct thorough investigations of security breaches, thefts, or other incidents, documenting findings and preparing reports as necessary. 6. Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies as needed to support security operations and investigations. 7. Provide excellent customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and clients with security-related concerns or inquiries. 8. Maintain accurate records of security-related activities, including incident reports, shift logs, and inventory checks. 9. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current on security procedures, protocols, and best practices. 10. Perform other duties as assigned by the security supervisor or management team. Qualifications: 1. Honorable discharge from the military with a background in security, law enforcement, or a related field. 2. Proven experience in security operations, preferably in a corporate or industrial setting. 3. Strong knowledge of security principles, techniques, and procedures. 4. Excellent physical condition with the ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods. 5. Proficiency in using security equipment, such as surveillance cameras, access control systems, and two-way radios. 6. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds. 7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating reliability, integrity, and professionalism at all times. 8. CPR and first aid certification (preferred). 9.
