Location: Bhubaneswar

Reports To: Security Supervisor/Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a vigilant and responsible Security Guard to protect our premises, assets, and personnel. The Security Guard will maintain a visible presence, monitor surveillance equipment, inspect buildings and equipment, and control access points to ensure a safe and secure environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and Patrol Premises:
• Conduct regular patrols of the property to prevent unauthorized access, theft, and vandalism.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems for any unusual activities.
• Access Control:
• Verify the identity of individuals entering the premises.
• Manage and maintain visitor logs and issue access passes as required.
• Incident Response:
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and disturbances.
• Report suspicious activities or security breaches to the appropriate authorities.
• Enforce Rules and Regulations:
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures regarding safety and security.
• Assist in managing crowd control during events or emergencies.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and irregularities.
• Prepare incident reports as needed.
• Emergency Assistance:
• Provide assistance during fire drills, evacuations, or other emergency situations.
• Act as a point of contact for emergency services, such as police, fire, and medical personnel.
• Customer Service:
• Provide directions and assistance to employees and visitors.
• Address questions or concerns professionally and courteously.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience in security or a related field is preferred Key Skills:
• Strong observational and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergencies effectively.
• Basic knowledge of security equipment and systems.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
• Capacity to lift and move heavy weights upto 50 kgs, if required.
• Willingness to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Work Environment:

• It is a retail, corporate and residential setting.
• May involve exposure to varying weather conditions.

Salary and Benefits:

• Salary Range: ?10,000 - ?12,000 per month.
