Job Title: Security Guard

: As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of premises, assets, personnel, and visitors. You will enforce security measures, monitor surveillance equipment, and patrol assigned areas to prevent theft, violence, or unauthorized entry. Additionally, you may need to respond to alarms or disturbances, detain individuals when necessary, and collaborate with law enforcement as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrol and Monitoring: Regularly patrol assigned areas to detect and deter suspicious activities. Monitor surveillance equipment and alarms to ensure timely response to incidents.
• Access Control: Verify credentials of individuals entering the premises. Restrict access to authorized personnel only and manage visitor logs.
• Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergencies such as medical incidents, fires, or security threats. Take appropriate action to mitigate risks and ensure the safety of occupants.
• Reporting and Documentation: Maintain detailed records of security incidents, accidents, or violations of rules. Prepare reports for management review and legal purposes as required.
• Customer Service: Provide assistance and guidance to visitors and employees. Address inquiries and concerns in a courteous and professional manner.
• Risk Assessment: Conduct security assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend preventive measures.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with local law enforcement agencies and emergency responders as needed. Participate in drills and exercises to test emergency response procedures.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in security management is a plus.
• Proven experience as a security guard or similar role preferred.
• Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety.
• Proficient in surveillance and emergency response procedures.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills.

Working Conditions:

• Shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays may be required.
• Exposure to varying weather conditions and potentially hazardous situations.
• Physical demands include standing, walking, and occasional lifting.
