Responsibilities:

Security Strategy and Design:


• Develop and maintain a comprehensive security strategy that aligns with business objectives and compliance requirements.
• Design secure network architectures, including segmentation, access controls, and data encryption strategies.
• Lead security reviews of new systems and applications before deployment.
• Stay informed about the latest security threats and trends, recommending and implementing necessary security controls.


Security Architecture Implementation:


• Work with IT operations and development teams to implement security solutions according to designed architecture.
• Oversee the selection, configuration, and integration of security tools and technologies (firewalls, SIEM,IAM, etc.).
• Ensure security solutions are scalable, reliable, and meet performance requirements.


Communication and Collaboration:


• Clearly communicate security risks, solutions, and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
• Collaborate effectively with IT operations, development, and other teams to integrate security into daily operations.
• Document security policies, procedures, and architectures.


Qualifications:


• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in information security, with a strong focus on security architecture and design.
• Proven track record of successfully designing and implementing security solutions in complex IT environments.
• In-depth understanding of security best practices, frameworks, and compliance regulations (e.g., NIST Cybersecurity Framework, PCI DSS, HIPAA).
• Strong knowledge of network security principles (firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems) and cloud security concepts.
• Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) tools and security automation techniques.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CCNP Security, or CISA are a plus.




Working days/hours: Monday to Friday; Fully remote - Hyderabad
