The Custody Product Management function is global, with regional management across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC. The team is responsible for the end-to-end ownership of business delivery, product strategy, P&L, and governance of the Custody business

This role is within the Global Custody Core Product Management team. The successful candidate will support the product management of Custody\'s international securities settlements product offering. They will be responsible for driving the execution of product improvement initiatives, ownership of product definitions, partnership with product development on strategic re-platforming programs, delivering client requested change and incident management. End to end ownership is critical and will require working in close partnership with all business stakeholders. This global role is based out of Mumbai and is part of the broader Securities Services team in location

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead initiatives to enhance the Global Custody securities settlements products to enhance client experience and improve competitiveness
• Prioritization of client driven change to the product to maximize client satisfaction, revenue retention and capitalize on prospect opportunities in partnership with Product Development, Operations and Network Management.
• Work closely with functional partners to close product gaps and progress product readiness in various markets.
• Analyze settlement capabilities per market and define the future-state product offering at a market and transaction type level. Complete benchmarking of the product vs competitors, internal targets and client requirements
• Ownership of Global Custody securities settlement product materials (Service Directories, Online content, Newsflashes etc). Maintain and update these materials as product changes are deployed.
• Lead communication with Client Service, Sales, Implementations & Operations teams and provide support in client meetings

Required Qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• 8-10 years of relevant work experience with a sound academic record. Experience of working within the Custody business space and a strong track record of delivering change
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills are required.
• Strong program management skills, must be organized and able to develop a project plan and break it down into achievable deliverables
• Experience of working with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, amongst others to communicate and present information
• Strong collaboration skills, able to work with many different individuals and partner effectively with different groups

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• Direct experience of working within Custody product management area with a specific focus on trade settlements. Knowledge of products in Securities Services such as Cash, FX and others would be an added advantage
• Experience in operations, product development or client service organization in banking industry would be ideal, otherwise a demonstrable understanding of the core concepts of product management is required
• Problem solving and good critical thinking skills based upon fact and business/industry knowledge
