:1. Job PurposeProvide input, guidance and feedback to plans and schedules and actively work to optimize the mine plan. Responsible for overburden removal and to maintain of good haul roads and dump yards for safe operation. Carry out mines survey for preparing the statutory plans and conduct initial and final measurements of Coal production by the contractor and submission of contractors bills. This includes conducting safety inspections, implementing safety training programs, and promoting a culture of safety among workers.Production & Dispatch PlanningDeveloping production and dispatch schedules and strategies to meet production targets while optimizing resources and minimizing costs. This involves coordinating with various departments to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of coal.Equipment EfficiencyOverseeing the deployment of mining equipment to ensure optimal utilization. Take proactive measures to ensure optimum output in safe manner.Staff ManagementSupervising and leading a team of mining personnel and others. This involves assigning tasks, providing training and guidance, and evaluating performance.Resource ManagementManaging resources such as manpower, equipment, and supplies to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations. This includes monitoring inventory levels, procuring necessary supplies, and optimizing resource utilization.Statutory ComplianceEnsuring compliance with applicable statutory norms and implementing measures to minimize the environmental impact, potential hazards at work places. This may involve implementing Safety Management plan, Environment laws, provisions of The Mines Act 1952 and its sub legislations etc.Quality ControlImplementing quality control measures to ensure the extraction of coal meets specified quality standards. This includes monitoring coal quality throughout the mining process, implementing corrective actions as needed, and ensuring compliance with customer requirements.Budget ManagementDeveloping and managing budgets for mining operations, including forecasting expenses, tracking costs, and identifying opportunities for cost savings. This involves working closely with finance and accounting teams to ensure financial objectives are met.Reporting and DocumentationPreparing reports and maintaining accurate records of mining activities, including production data, safety incidents, equipment maintenance, and environmental compliance. This information is used for regulatory compliance, performance evaluation, and decision-making purposes.LiasoningFacilitating communication between various stakeholders, including upper management, workers, regulatory agencies, and community members.
