: SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test)

Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in automated testing, with hands-on experience in Python, Selenium, and Robot Framework. As an SDET, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing test automation frameworks to ensure the quality of our products. You will work closely with development and QA teams to ensure seamless integration of automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop, maintain, and enhance test automation frameworks using Python , Selenium , and Robot Framework .
• Design and write efficient, reusable, and robust automated test scripts.
• Execute automated test cases, analyze results, and provide detailed reports on defects and issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and product teams, to understand product functionality and ensure complete test coverage.
• Work closely with the development team to debug and resolve issues.
• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure rapid feedback on code quality.
• Continuously improve the testing process by identifying opportunities for optimization and automation.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Required Skills :

• 3+ years of experience in automated testing with a focus on Python.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming for test automation.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium for web application automation.
• Experience working with Robot Framework for automated testing.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git .
• Understanding of software development and testing methodologies, particularly in an Agile environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Good to Have :

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests.
• Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience in API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured.
