The Opportunity


Panacea team is building log analyzer product 2.0 version, that shows the anomalies given the log bundle in logs and also in metrics. While the 1.0 version shows only the anomalies based on regex filters, In 2.0 we would like to leverage the AI/ML techniques in detecting the anomalies from logs and show them to user to debug the problems faster. Build the tool such that it auto learns given the feedback from users on selected anomalies.


Build the AI/ML models that can be trained on logs and metrics, do the correlation between the services of Nutanix cloud that are co-related, show the anomalies in the logs/metrics to help engineer in troubleshooting.


Be well versed in AI/ML field and also in LLMs.

About the Team


At Nutanix, you will be part of the Panacea team, comprised of 5 Engineers spread across two locations - 4 team members based in India and 1 in the USA. You will report to the Engineering Manager who is dedicated to fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. As part of a hybrid work setup at Nutanix, you will be expected to come into the office for 3 days a week, promoting both in-person interactions and remote flexibility. This balance allows for seamless collaboration while also accommodating individual work preferences.

For this role, there are no travel requirements, enabling you to focus on impactful projects and team collaboration without the need for extensive travel commitments. Nutanix prioritizes creating a conducive work environment that values work-life balance and facilitates professional development.

Your Role

• Build an AI based Log Analyzer tool that takes Logs/Metrics as input and shows analysis by showing anamolies in logs and also does analysis on top of the anomalies .
• use LLMs to show the analysis of problem to an end user.
• Train and build the ML models in detecting anomalies given time series metrics and also logs. build the models for corelation between anomalies of related components and display the analysis.
• Collaborate with Cross functional teams on requirements for log analyzer and lead from process of requirements to end product.

What You Will Bring

• Possess a B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science/IT/Data Science
• Have at least 6 years of experience in the field
• Proficient in Python, data scraping, data science, and machine
• learning
• Demonstrate expertise in AI and ML modeling
• Skilled in training and testing models on text data and metrics
• Leverage LLMs for analysis and user input understanding
• Capable of collaborating with functional teams to gather requirements and lead projects from start to finish
