Description and Requirements4 to 10 years of experience in setting up, maintaining, and performing test automation frameworks on multiple application platforms, such as Mobile, Desktop, API and WebExperience in Designing and implementing Test Automation frameworks with Selenium, TestNG, Maven/Gradle, Pytest, Cucumber, Playwright, Cypress, Appium or similarShould have strong hands on experience on scripting languages & tooling for various applications (Selenium, Karate Framework, Playwright, Cypress, Jest, Pytest, Robot Framework, Cucumber, BDD, Jbehave, Core Java, Python, Javascript, Groovy)Utilize version control systems like GitHub/Bitbucket/Teamcity etc. for code management and collaborationDesign and execute test plans, test cases, and test strategies to ensure software quality and reliabilityConduct API testing using tools like Rest Assured, SoapUI, Karate etc. to validate API endpoints and ensure proper functionalityEmploy test management tools such as Jira, qTest, ALM or similar to manage and track test cases, defects, and test execution resultsImplement continuous testing practices for automated build, test, and deployment processes using Jenkins, Cloud or similar toolsetsImplement Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices using tools like Cucumber and Behave to facilitate collaboration between technical and non-technical stakeholders.Good knowledge of SQL queries.Focus on continuous improvements and optimization through test automation executed in CI approach, utilizing methodologies/test techniques, deriving best practices.Ability to retrospect the gaps in test framework & enhance to cover the needs of test coverage.Utilize cloud technologies like GCP, AWS or similar platforms for pipeline purposeCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and resolve software defects.Working experience in Agile, Safe environments.Additional Excellent written and verbal communication skills and should have good experience in client facing.To be the best fit for the position, you must have one of these skill sets combinations.SDET with Selenium, Java, Rest Assured, KarateSDET with Selenium, Java, Jest, Cypress, PlaywrightSDET with Selenium, Java, Karate, AppiumSDET with Selenium, Java, Python, PytestEEO StatementAt TELUS International, we enable customer experience innovation through spirited teamwork, agile thinking, and a caring culture that puts customers first.
