Systems Test EngineeringGeneral Summary:Primary responsibilities will be to write and execute testcases and device automation.
xc2xb7 Evaluate technologies, systems, and devices through testing, logging and analysis.
xc2xb7 Candidate must be able to create test environments using software and hardware tools.
xc2xb7 Develop test procedures, execute tests, and isolate problems.
xc2xb7 Develop automation systems for executing tests and parsing results.
xc2xb7 Has ability to withstand pressure without diluting Testing processes.
xc2xb7 In case of emergency take charge of the situation, coordinate with stakeholders.
xc2xb7 Should be able to optimize & effectively manage time.
xc2xb7 Should be able to identify, track and mitigate risks to the product.
xc2xb7 Should be able to work in close collaboration with Product Engineering teams.
xc2xb7 Actively study user experience to improve customer experience on Qualcomm MM solution across ARM based chipset product.
xc2xb7 Make sure the product automation is always running with the latest guidelines and features.The Engineer must have a good understanding of Display technologies and experience with automation - c/c++ programming and/or python programmingMinimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.Required Qualifications:
. Good working experience in Display technology i.e MIPI DSI/HDCP/PSR/DP CTS/VGA/DVI/HDMI/HDR/Variable refresh rate/Multi Stream Transport/DSC.
. Experience with automation of artifacts identification on UI would be big plus.
. Proven track record of value addition done to the Product / Solutions through strong QA processes.
. Someone who can be a path setting leader through individual contribution in Testing.
. Strong experience in Manual Testing and Test Automation methodologies.
. Experience in non-functional testing types is big plus i.e USB/PMIC/Security.
. Analyzing new architecture feature on system area and help in improving the performance and power.xc2xb7 Experience working with and testing applications on Windows
xc2xb7 Expert in C/C++/Python programming
xc2xb7 Versioning Tool Knowledge of Git, Perforce.
xc2xb7 Outstanding problem-solving skills
xc2xb7 Excellent communication and team working skills.
xc2xb7 Physical presence in Qualcomm Bangalore office is expected
xc2xb7 Proven experience in test automation development, source code management, continuous integration, and script programming, test framework development.

• Must have White box testing experience on Desktop along with test coding experience

Preferred additional qualifications:
