As a SDET Living Room Devices within DAZN's Technology & Product Engineering team, DAZN is seeking a talented, SDET LR to join our team and contribute to the testing of streaming applications for the LR platform. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through the design and implementation of automated testing frameworks and test suites. • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) or similar role, with a strong background in software testing and test automation.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and design comprehensive test plans and strategies.
• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites to validate software functionality, performance, and scalability.
• Write efficient, maintainable, and reusable code to automate test cases for web and mobile applications.
• Conduct thorough testing of front-end components, including API testing, database testing, and user interface testing.
• Perform regression testing to identify and address any defects or regressions introduced during the development process.
• Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and debug issues, providing detailed reports and recommendations for resolution.
• Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Monitor test results and metrics to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in product quality.

Skillset:

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, or JavaScript, with experience in test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress).
• Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices, including black-box testing, white-box testing, and exploratory testing.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Bugzilla).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes of issues and propose effective solutions.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Intermediate English. Be able to communicate and collaborate in a clear, open, and healthy way.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and quality assurance standards
