About the Position We are looking for a dynamic and enterprising Senior Software Engineer in Test for Oracle-NetSuite team in Hyderabad location. As a Senior Software Engineer in Test, you will help us deliver our market leading suite success suite that powers many of the world\'s largest ERP. Ideal candidate will demonstrate an ability to apply technology to solve real business problems. They will be able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical constituencies. Above all, they will demonstrate a clear ability to create robust, easily extensible solutions for our customers. Responsibilities : Analyze and decompose complex technical specifications to design and implement an automated testing approach Design and create test plans to address business and technical use cases Responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards Test the application and build automated tests to exercise different aspects of the applications Execute, maintain, and review the results of existing automated tests, filing issues, and fixing tests as necessary. Create automated tests for new features being developed. Develop quality standards, control methods and theories to be utilized during manufacturing, testing and inspection to access product quality Participate in designing and implementing enhancements to our test running framework Conduct research on new automation tools and approaches Analyze complex production environment issues and design automated tests for future validation Setup and configure real world production-like environments to validate software integration points, Analyze code coverage reports and implement new code to cover untested areas of product Interact with product management, project management and development teams to develop a strong understanding of the product functionality and testing objectives Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment Performance testing of different modules/use cases, analyzing the performance testing results. Scrubs issues in their product area, figuring out steps to reproduce in a test account based on steps to reproduce in a customer account May have project lead role and or supervise junior level personnel. Experience/Skills : 6+ years of experience in Software Quality assurance Java development experience and experience in testing of Web applications BS/BTech in CS/MCA or related field /experience Experience with bug tracking, test case management systems, and source control systems Experience in Selenium script development is essential and API automation preferably REST API is a plus Must have hands on experience of development/scripting skills in languages like Java, JavaScript, C#, .NET Good understanding of object oriented programming, J2EE architecture, .NET, etc Familiarity with a variety of testing techniques and proven ability to choose and prioritize among them Must be a strong team player, detail oriented, self-motivated and perform well under pressure Excellent problem solving, troubleshooting, debugging and analytical skills Experience as a member of a scrum team is a plus Working knowledge of internet/web technologies such as HTTP, HTML, XML, JSP, JavaScript is a plus
