As a Frontend developer, you will work closely with the Product and Design teams to bring their designs and user flows to life and create the intended experience for users. You will also work with the Backend to integrate with APIs to solve for the data needs of the product. You will be responsible for end to end deliverables.What You will doLead the design, development, and deployment of complex web applications using modern web technologies (ReactJS and NodeJS) that can work in a large-scale multi-tenant environment.Explore design implications and work towards appropriate balance between functionality, performance, and maintainability.Build out the web interfaces for the products, Develop new user-facing features.Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.Take ownership from ideation phase to deployment and maintenance.Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.Build reusable code and libraries for future use.Hands-on experience in API development and frameworks such Express, Loopback, Hapi and help Backend to design APIs and integrate with them.Active participation in the hiring process to bring world-class programmers in the team.Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development, and apply this knowledge to improve our products.Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, ensuring high performance and responsiveness of applications.QualificationsWhat you will need5+ years of professional experience with frontend development for web applicationsStrong programming skills in Javascript/TypeScriptDeep knowledge in ReactJS, React Hooks, redux-saga patternDeep knowledge of HTML5, Responsive CSS, Javascript, Bootstrap/Tailwind (or similar frameworks)Working knowledge on frontend frameworks and tools like NextJs, NestJs etc is a plusHands-on experience in API development and frameworks such as Express, Loopback, HapiGood understanding of SQL and NoSQL databasesExperience in test-driven development. (writing unit test and API test).Understanding of basic cloud computing concepts and experience in using any of the major cloud service providers(AWS/GCP/Azure)Ability to build and deploy the application in a containerized environmentEfficient in making release planning and requirement gathering from cross functional product teamsUnderstanding of network layer, HTTP, HTTPS, cookies, local storageYou keep pace with the ever-changing specs of cutting edge front-end technologies.Good architectural and design skillsAbility to own end to end responsibility - right from the requirement, to releaseAbility to produce bug-free and production-grade codeProficiency at debugging, including identifying page speed and performance bottlenecks, using tools like Chrome Dev tools, React Dev tools, etc.B.E/B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech/M.S. from a reputed university with a good academic record.Zeal and drive to take end to end ownership.Familiarity with security/vulnerability concepts and mitigation techniquesAdditional InformationLife at sliceLife so good, you\xe2\x80\x99d think we\xe2\x80\x99re kidding:
