Job Title: SDE2 (Software Development Engineer 2) - MERN Stack
Location: Hinjewadi phase 1 pune (onsite)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Software Development Engineer (SDE2) - MERN Stack to join our dynamic team and help drive the development of high-quality web applications. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js) to design, implement, and maintain scalable and robust applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in front-end and back-end development, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a passion for innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, adhering to best practices in MERN stack development.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members, fostering a culture of code quality and continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance for speed and scalability.
• Create and maintain RESTful APIs and ensure seamless integration between front-end and back-end components.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to implement innovative features and enhance product functionality.
• Participate actively in Agile processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in software development with a strong focus on the MERN stack.
• Proficiency in front-end development using React and a solid understanding of state management (Redux, Context API).
• Back-end expertise in Node.js and Express.js, with experience in RESTful API design and development.
• Experience working with MongoDB, including data modeling, querying, and optimization for performance.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of responsive design principles and experience with CSS frameworks (e.g., Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with deployment and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of additional JavaScript frameworks/libraries (e.g., Next.js) and experience with server-side rendering.
• Understanding of testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha) for unit and integration testing.
• Experience with DevOps practices, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative tools (Jira, Confluence).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?545,390.52 - ?832,332.96 per year
