Job Description



Role: ScrumMaster
Experience: 7-10 years
Location: Hyderabad (Work from Office)
Travel: Must be ready to travel Onsite if needed


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for creating and improving these agile processes within a team.
  • Responsible to coach, mentor and guide consultants to figure out the best solutions for their specific Project challenges.
  • Work with project teams to analyze current systems and processes and design a strategy for the adoption of agile best practices.
  • Guide teams to help them stay on track with agile techniques, fine-tuning approaches as needed to ensure the overall strategy is being met
  • Lead agile workshops for both development and functional teams, as well as key stakeholders
  • Facilitate learning and development through individual and team coaching
  • Effectively communicate agile principles, scrum practices and overall operating model across the scrum teams
  • Champion the use of metrics and other objective measures across teams



Essential:
  • 8+ years of overall IT experience (mainly in application development & support or Data analytics)
  • Min. 3+ years of experience as ScrumMaster
  • Scrum Master will facilitate the Scrum ceremonies and adopt Scrum framework through coaching, training and guiding the team.
  • Fluently manage communication between onsite and offshore delivery teams and stakeholders
  • Participate in retrospectives, standups and planning meetings
  • Identify blockers and keep team motivated by having 1:1 discussion
  • Provide coaching for transitioning team from traditional to agile delivery practices.
  • Support and guide the product owner in properly managing the backlog.
  • Aid the team in determining suitable commitments for product backlog items and sprints.
  • Remove impediments or guide the team to remove impediments by identifying the appropriate source/resolution.
  • Enable the team to self-organize and fill in the intentional gaps left in the agile/scrum frameworks.
  • Facilitate discussions, decision making, and conflict resolution.
  • Evaluate the scrum maturity of the team and organization and coach the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization.
  • Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and adapt to changes.
  • Continuous follow up and dedicated responsibility to ensure sprint closure.
  • Proven record of creating new successful processes and improving existing ones.
  • Excellent written and oral communication.
