  • Facilitate Scrum events, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives, ensuring their effectiveness.
  • Promote collaboration and communication among Agile teams to ensure alignment and synchronization.
  • Identify and address impediments to team progress.
Agile Coaching:
  • Coach Agile teams on SAFe principles, values, and practices.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and adherence to Agile methodologies.
  • Empower teams to self-organize and make decisions, fostering a sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Provide guidance on Agile best practices and techniques.
Program Execution:
  • Facilitate and actively participate in Program Increment (PI) planning events.
  • Ensure that team priorities align with the overall program and organizational objectives.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure a well-defined and prioritized product backlog.
  • Assist teams in breaking down and estimating user stories.
  • Define, track, and report key Agile metrics to measure team and program performance.
  • Use metrics to identify areas for improvement and guide decision-making.
  • Facilitate regular retrospectives and help teams implement improvements.
  • Contribute to the Agile community within the organization by sharing best practices.
Stakeholder Management:
  • Ensure transparent and effective communication within the team and with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Release Train Engineers, and other Scrum Masters to address dependencies and impediments.
  • Address and resolve conflicts within the team and escalate when necessary.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team culture.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in after hour escalations to assist on call team members.
  • Performs the role of scrum master for one or more teams, leading multiple, simultaneous initiatives of complex programs / release trains.
  • Practices the core Agile principles of collaboration, support, prioritization, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Facilitates sprint demos, planning, and retrospectives.
  • Tracks and communicates team velocity and sprint/release progress.
  • Provides status reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs), schedule, resources, and milestone delivery.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Must-Have:
  • Strong agile practice skills/background (XP, SaFe framework, Scrum, POD).
  • Effective leadership of scrum team(s).
  • Experience in Jira /Confluence.
  • Experience inCoaching backlog ceremonies and definition of ready adherence.
  • Orchestrate solution demos to incremental value showcase.
  • Strong mediation and negotiation skills
Good to Have:
  • Demonstrated effective coaching.
  • Demonstrated effective crucial conversation skills.
  • Coach pairing sessions focused on story refinement.
  • Skilled in Gherkin (Given, When Then) style acceptance criteria
  • CSM/ Scrum / SaFe Certification is preferred.
Minimum Qualification:
  • Bachelor\'s Degree/equivalent in computer science, engineering, or information systems and/or equivalent formal training or work experience.
  • 6-9 years qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment.
  • A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements.
