About the unit Digital Data & IT GBS (Global Business Service) was established in February 2010 as an integral part of Digital Data & IT in HQ (Head Quarter). From the beginning in 2010, the unit has grown to 800+ employees till date. The main role of Global IT GBS (Global Business Service) is to \'manage\' IT, which includes System Management, Project Management, Infrastructure Management, Compliance Management, Security Management, Process Management and Vendor Management. You will be a part of DD & IT, PS (product supply) team.
The Position As a Release Train Engineer, you will play a role model for Agile ways of working and continuously drive Agile improvements. You will drive, improve, change methods, techniques, and feedback in accordance with the Agile Transformation Office (ATO)/Lean Agile Center of Excellence (LACE) and/or Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) in your area. Your primary responsibility be to:
  • Facilitate ART (Agile Release Train) events and based on feedback on the events ensure that the ART is constantly evaluating own efficiency and taking corrective actions when improvement opportunities are identified. You will provide collaborative leadership to the ART by applying Agile practices (such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe) and help the Agile teams embrace and practice the values and principles of Agile.
  • Facilitate effective Program Increment (PI) planning events and prepare pre-PI planning activities. You will facilitate the ART during PI planning and help the ART deliver according to expectations.
  • Keep track of and help solve program impediments and escalate if necessary.
  • Help the ART manage their progress via transparent program backlog and program board overviews.
  • Drive Agile teams, vendors, and customers in the Novo Nordisk Agile way of working inclusive of Agile Delivery Model, Azure DevOps, Agile QMS and Agile Sourcing.
Additionally, you will work as a change ambassador to drive the learning culture and Agile mindset in Novo Nordisk. You will ensure the right capabilities are available in the ART to enable long term ability to deliver. You will also work with the Agile Program Management Office (APMO) to agree on ART budgets and ensure program execution and operational excellence.
Qualifications
  • Masters or Bachelors in a relevant field e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, Technology, Business Administration.
  • 10+ years of solid experience of working in Agile framework, with experience as RTE and Scrum Master in a SAFe context. 5+ years of people manager and project management experience in Agile framework. Must have good experience with Agile Reporting and KPI formulation.
  • Exhibit good experience working in SAFe preferable as RTE or Agile Coach in a large and complex organisation. You must display good understanding of Agile principles, methodologies, and events.
  • Must have certificate in SAFe\xc2\xae Agilist or SAFe\xc2\xae Release Train Engineer (RTE) or any other Agile certifications.
  • Good experience with Agile tools e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, XP and DevOps.
  • Able to motivate, inspire, delegate and empower others to take action.
  • Strong experience in working with teams and management present at different global Locations.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team, and a clear understanding of how assigned responsibilities impact other processes and the work of other people.
  • Excellent writing, verbal, presentation, communication, and consensus building skills. You must have high cultural sensitivity and ability to work across cultures. Above all you have passion for excellence with a concise, precise, and effective approach to problem solving and decision making.
