We, Bankers Group of Hospitals are looking for Scrub Nurse (Cardiac OT) for our location at DWTI-PGH & Bankers Heart Institute, Surat. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Scrub nurse plays vital role in OT.
- Be thorough with patient file.
- Never scrub with empty stomach and full bladder.
- As soon as patient is taken in OT, she should go for scrubbing after putting mask and cap properly.
- Maintain proper sterility in wearing gown and gloves and in laying out the trolley.
- Lay out the trolley as per protocol and it should be ready before induction.
- Check patient position and placement of diathermy pad. Take anesthetist permission before painting and draping.
- Nurse drapes the patient with the help of another scrubbed doctor. Pass the machinery end of diathermy cable, defibrillator paddles, suction tube and fix it properly.
- Keep the instruments and instrument trolley tidy.
- Used swabs should be thrown in unfolded way.
- Keep instrument in proper place and avoid instruments falling on the floor.
- Take rough count after main procedure and final count before closure of the sternum.
- Clean the incision site and apply sterile dressing.
- Rotational shift
- Overtime pay
- Diploma (Preferred)
- Cardiac OT: 2 years (Required)
