Scrub Nurse Cath Lab
Job Description
Provides constant care to patients immediately following surgery
? Connects patient to devices as cardiac monitors
? Assess and reassess patient condition, observes and records any significant changes in vital signs and assess for any reaction to blood/fluids.
? Able to detect deviations from normal and reports significant changes without delay
? Takes vital signs, BP, Pulse Temp at regular intervals.
? Observes for any blood loss or soaked dressings and reports accordingly
? Ensures Intravenous lines are connected appropriately and fluid is administered as per doctors' orders
? Keeps a watch on breathing, observes O2 saturation and administer oxygen as required
? He/she must be able to think critically and make quick decisions when required
