Job Overview:
We are looking for a talented and passionate Script Writer / Content Writer to create engaging and compelling scripts for our YouTube Channel and digital platforms . The role will also involve writing content for ad films , social media posts, and assisting with graphic design and digital marketing materials. The ideal candidate should have a creative flair, excellent storytelling skills, and a keen understanding of how to craft content for different digital platforms, ensuring maximum engagement and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Scriptwriting for YouTube :
o Write engaging, well-researched, and creative scripts for YouTube videos (informational, tutorial, travel vlogs, promotional, etc.).
o Work with the content team to develop video concepts and ensure they align with the channel's objectives and audience.
o Create content that is informative, entertaining, and optimized for YouTube's algorithm (SEO-friendly).
o Collaborate with video editors and producers to ensure scripts are executed as intended.
2. Content Writing for Digital Media :
o Write content for social media posts, blogs, website copy, newsletters, and email marketing campaigns.
o Create ad copy for digital advertisements, banners, and other marketing materials.
o Develop video captions, titles, and descriptions optimized for engagement.
3. Ad Film Scriptwriting :
o Write compelling and concise scripts for advertising and promotional videos for various products/services.
o Ensure the script aligns with brand messaging, tone, and the target audience for the campaigns.
4. Collaboration :
o Work closely with the creative team, including graphic designers, video editors, and marketing specialists, to ensure consistent content across platforms.
o Assist in brainstorming sessions for new content ideas, themes, and strategies.
o Revise and edit content as per feedback from the team or stakeholders.
5. SEO and Audience Engagement :
o Apply SEO best practices while writing content for YouTube and other digital platforms to improve visibility and reach.
o Engage with the audience through interactive content, answering questions, and encouraging feedback.
6. Creative Input for Graphics and Digital Work :
o Collaborate with the graphic design team to conceptualize and create visually engaging content (social media graphics, posters, thumbnails, etc.).
o Contribute to the overall digital content strategy, ensuring all written and visual work aligns with brand goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a scriptwriter, content writer, or similar role in digital media or advertising.
• Strong knowledge of YouTube content creation, trends, and SEO.
• Creative and original thinking with a passion for storytelling.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with an eye for detail.
• Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and tools.
• Knowledge of content creation software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Docs, etc.).
• Experience in writing for social media, ad films, and digital marketing campaigns is a plus.
• Basic understanding of graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva) is a plus.
• A passion for travel, lifestyle, and digital content is an advantage.
Desired Skills:
• Previous experience in the travel industry or YouTube content creation .
• Experience in ad film scriptwriting .
• Knowledge of video production and the ability to suggest visual ideas that align with written content.
• Familiarity with YouTube analytics and insights to refine content strategies.
Education & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Journalism , English , Creative Writing , Mass Communication , or related field.
• At least 2 years of proven experience in content writing or scriptwriting.
• Portfolio showcasing writing samples (preferably with YouTube or digital media experience).
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
• Consistency in producing high-quality scripts and content.
• Engagement metrics (views, likes, shares, comments) for YouTube videos and social media content.
• Timeliness and quality of work in meeting deadlines.
• Feedback from internal teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to adapt to new content formats, trends, and audience preferences.

Pay: ?10,378.57 - ?29,455.15 per month
