Job Description

We are looking for a manufacturing biotechnologist with expertise in downstream services:

Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for biotechnology products, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
• Evaluating different microbial strains, making their library, and proficiency in operating and troubleshooting bioreactors, centrifuges, chromatography systems, and other related equipment.
• Ability to operate and maintain bioreactors, establish SOP, optimize fermentation processes, and ability to scale up to 10L microbial fermentations.
• Strong knowledge of bioprocessing techniques, including fermentation, purification, and downstream processing.
• It would be an advantage if the applicant has prior experience in supporting upstream activities which are not limited to basic cell culture, cell lysis, media and buffer preparation, and instrument cleaning/maintenance.
• Analyze experimental data, including gel electrophoresis, chromatography data, and sequencing data.
• Contribute to the writing of laboratory protocols, standard operating procedures, and other forms of routine documentation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Requirements

• Master's degree or PhD in microbiology and Life Science disciplines, Biotechnology, Bioengineering, or related fields.
• At least one year of work experience in a bioprocessing, academic, or commercial process development setting.
• Familiarity in working with bioreactors and downstream processing.
• Experienced in microbiology and biochemistry

Demonstrate proficiency in designing and troubleshooting experiments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?15,328.55 - ?20,000.00 per month
