The Scientific Writing and Publication Consultant is responsible for providing guidance and support to scientists and researchers on writing and publishing scientific papers. The Consultant will work closely with researchers to develop manuscripts, provide feedback and guidance on writing skills, and ensure that manuscripts meet the standards of scientific publications. They will also be responsible for staying current with trends and best practices in scientific writing and publishing.

Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance and support to scientists and researchers on writing and publishing scientific papers

• Develop manuscripts and ensure that they meet the standards of scientific publications

• Provide feedback and guidance on writing skills, including grammar, style, and scientific language

• Collaborate with researchers to ensure that manuscripts are written in a clear and concise manner

• Develop and deliver workshops and training sessions on topics related to scientific writing and publishing

• Stay current with trends and best practices in scientific writing and publishing

• Collaborate with journal editors to ensure that manuscripts meet the standards of scientific publications

Requirements

• Ph.D. in a relevant field

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in scientific writing and publishing

• Strong writing and editing skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Knowledge of scientific writing styles and citation formats

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Experience developing and delivering workshops and training sessions

• Knowledge of industry trends and best practices

• Familiarity with scientific databases and search engines
