You will:

• Understand the customer scientific needs and able to provide potential solutions on the fly.
• Liaise with customer on all scientific pre-sales sessions and represent organization\xe2\x80\x99s products, services, and solutions.
• Provide scientific strategy and solution to potential customer projects in pre-sale environment.
• Be responsible for managing the interfaces with internal and external stakeholders.
• Work with Sales Personnel, Customer Success, Product Team, Technical Teams, and key business partners to ideate solutions.

• Advise and ideate on novel and cutting-edge technologies.
• Assess existing software tools and utilise them to solve industry problems
• Understand industry challenges as well as industry drivers, translating them into actionable solutions
• Communicate knowledge to engineering and product development teams to guide product improvements and releases
• Work with cross-functional global teams

Requirements

You will need:

• MS or PhD in Computational Biology or Bioinformatics or Data Science or Biology related areas

• Significant experience working in computational sciences with special emphasis on scientific solution creation for varied problems
• Experience pre-sales, sales and business development activities in the life science service industry
• Familiarity with RFIs and RFPs
• Proven skills in presentation and proposal preparation
• Hands on experience on data analysis and biological interpretation

• Proven experience in systems biology, data science, gene regulatory networks, metabolic modelling or similar
• Extensive experience with current experimental data analysis tools
• Knowledge of network biology, microbiome and multi-omics integration approaches
• Deep understanding of scientific research methods
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a part of a team as well as evidence of independent completion of research efforts

• A result driven approach that demonstrates ownership and accountability
• Ability to complete assignments with attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
• Proven ability to perform effectively in a demanding environment with changing and challenging workloads
