We are looking for a candidate for the position of Scientific assistant (Digital Forensics / Cyber Security) who can work with us and provide a positive impact on other faculty members and students or Interns. An ideal candidate would have advanced knowledge of software and other techniques to secure, retrieve and analyze data linked to a range of criminal activities or cyber crime and passing the same to the students or interns who enroll in university programs. Responsibilities and Duties: To develop, manage and monitor all the internship programmes. This includes associated operational administration, curriculum and lab development and quality management and enhancement (including accreditation by relevant professional institutions where appropriate). You will work with Associate Scientific Officers to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of teaching or training programmes in accordance with University strategy, policy and procedures, undertake research activity and engage in enterprise activity, influencing leading edge practice. To manage and motivate all departmental staff, to enable the students to receive skilled education in the subject, in a positive, encouraging and effective working environment. To ensure the development of the Curriculum to keep up to date with relevant changes and to encourage a wide range of activities to learn the subject with practical skill. To attend meetings when required by Senior Management. Responsible for managing taught programmes, including oversight of day to day operational processes (e.g. timetabling, assessment, examination systems) and programme accreditation processes. Ensure that programme design and delivery comply with the quality standards and regulations of the particular University. Contribute to the development of academic processes across the institution. Contribute to the development of learning and teaching strategies. Teach a range of materials. Develop and apply innovative and appropriate teaching techniques and material which create interest, understanding and enthusiasm amongst students. Oversee the monitoring of student progress and provide advice and guidance to personal tutors, interns and students as appropriate Able to undertake duties at different premises including any University campus as required. Expected to work outside of normal office hours when required. All academic staff are expected to engage in activities associated with promotion, marketing and public outreach of the subject area. Qualifications: Atleast 2+ years of experience in teaching Digital Forensics / Cyber Security Industry including minimum 2 years of regular service after appointment in an Institute affiliated to National Council or corporate for Digital Forensics / Cyber Forensics / Cyber Security / Other Forensics educational streams. Depth or breadth of specialist knowledge demonstrated by a high level qualification. In depth understanding of Digital Forensics / Cyber Security to enable the development of new knowledge and understanding within the field. External recognition as a practice based professional Knowledge of higher education and ability to use a range of delivery techniques to enthuse and engage students Professional Status Eligible for Senior Fellow status under the Higher Education Academy\xe2\x80\x99s Professional Standards Framework for Teaching and Supporting Learning in Higher Education.
