We at Ruchika laid the founding stones for pre-primary education in Odisha, 48 years ago. Our founder, renowned for her work in child Rights and child education, Late Mrs. Inderjeet Khurana, began this delightful and fun-filled journey where children learn through engaging and interactive activities, tailored to make them exceptional learners and thinkers. Today Ruchika has blossomed into a school with 450+ holistic learners and 25 years of conducting ICSE Examinations with 100% pass percentage.

At Ruchika, we believe in S.S.G method of learning- Stories, Songs and Games . Our day with the kids is spent mostly in the garden teaching the children through experience and urging them to recognise and question the world around them. We want our children to speculate, be curious and ask the quirkiest questions. We strive to make learning FUN and make school a child's favourite time of day.

What makes a teacher a good fit for our organisation?

• Strong communication skills in English and Hindi
• Certified degree or training in Science (B.sc / M.sc / M.Phil) and Certified degree in Education (B.Ed / M.Ed / M.Phil / Ph.d)
• Strong subject knowledge in science and the ability to teach various concepts clearly.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage students effectively.
• Ability to design engaging lesson plans and adapt teaching methods to diverse learning needs.
• Good classroom management and problem-solving abilities.
• Passion for teaching and inspiring young minds.
• Competence in using educational apps and resources to enhance learning .

Brownie points if:

• You have skills in computer skills like presentation building, EXCEL, Canva, etc.
• You have loads of hobbies you like to engage in (singing, dancing, hiking, nature walks, gardening, playing the guitar, arts & crafts, etc.)

Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 36 months

Pay: From ?12,000.00 per month
